The Festival du nouveau cinéma in Montreal (FNC) is once again participating in La Nuit blanche in Montreal, which will take place on Saturday, March 3, 2018, and invests La Guilde on this occasion (1356 Sherbrooke Street West). On the program, short films, performance and djset, showcasing contemporary Aboriginal arts with multidisciplinary artists Caroline Monnet, Guy Sioui Durand, and DJ Parker Mah.

8 to 9.30 pm – Screenings of short films by Caroline Monnet (The Black Case, Ikwé, Gephyrophobia) and a selection of Cartes Blanches produced by FNC (Creatura Dada by Caroline Monnet, Sakitakwin Liberté by Kévin Papatie, Home! by Zacharias Kunuk)
9.30 to 10 pm – Losing the North: Performing harangue by Guy Sioui Durand
The moment of a Nuit Blanche in Tiötià:ke' (Montreal), merging lights, rhythms, Nordic sounds and cinematographic images into a "performing harangue" in situ, the Wendat artist and theorist Guy Sioui Durand will transform the physical space of La Guilde and the spirit of the people present in imaginary boreal territories. During this performance, Caroline Monnet's film Tshiuetin will be broadcast on two simultaneous screens.
10 pm to 1 am - DJ set by Parker Mah aka DJ Rythm & Hues
From mbalax to maracatu, from cumbia to kwaito, the mixes of this Chinese-Canadian artist, music lover, vagabond and inveterate collector, are a cure for thirsty ears.
